How are Travel Advisors paid?
Travel Advisors get paid through commissions from booking client accommodations, excursions, and travel insurance. They are not paid from airline tickets or itineraries.
Why wouldn’t I just book the trips myself?
Not only do Travel Advisors offer exclusive discounts on places you already travel to, but they also take the time to know you and care for your needs. By booking by yourself, you still have a Travel Agent, just not someone you know, trust, or can go to for advice or when you need help.
Can Travel Agents help with booking flights?
Yes, a lot of times flights are packaged with the accomodations. By having the Travel Agent package it, it makes the entire trip easier and less stressful.
