And why they are ideal for an avid traveler

Costa Rica

Have you ever dreamt of living abroad, even if just for a few months? With the rise of remote work due to the pandemic, many countries have introduced digital nomad visas, allowing people to work from truly remote locations. These visas offer a refreshing change of scenery while enabling you to pursue your financial goals without taking extensive time off. Plus, who wouldn’t want to work with a beach or mountain view?

What is a Digital Nomad Visa?

Digital Nomad Visas

For those unfamiliar with the concept, a digital nomad visa allows individuals to live abroad while continuing their current remote work in a different country. Like other visas, each country has specific criteria for application, including income requirements. For more information or to conduct further research, the U.S. Embassy websites for each country serve as an excellent resource. For example, for Brazil, you can either Google “US Embassy Brazil” or you can type in the search bar https://br.usembassy.gov/ (first two letters of the country.usembassy.gov). The US Embassy has one for every country in the world.

Here are the countries that offer digital nomad visas in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
